Proud to be Pinoy!

It's terrible too see the news and hear about people actually losing their houses because of the continuous heavy rain. Many people have been forced to leave their homes. Some of the roads are closed and thousands of people and motorists are stranded due to deep floods. Some are trapped on their roofs, waiting for their family to be rescued. Some evacuation centers cannot accommodate large volume of evacuees. They also lack sufficient food, water and other basic needs.

Good thing, we are living in a country of heroes. You will actually feel the spirit of “Bayanihan”. Many families are being rescued and relief efforts are being made. Many Filipinos are willing to risk their own lives to save others. Everyone is enthusiast to give a little something of what they have to help those who are in need. There are volunteers willing to offer their times to bring relief items to affected areas. TV networks are also full forced to help. They are conducting medical missions and rescue operations too. See!? There are really great stories of sacrifice and selflessness in our country! We should be proud to be pinoy!
