Swimtastic Experience!

My son started taking swimming lessons at The Tropical Getaway Resort. It’s part of his P.E. class. I’m glad they have this kind of activity in school. The session starts at 9am onwards, every Friday. I was worried how his first swim would go. He has been interested in swimming but a little scared to submerge; so I Keep my eyes on him and observe him closely. He might not be that confident yet but he was trying to challenge himself every instance and make improvements every meeting.

Oftentimes, the kids aren't paying attention and being too difficult to handle. Surprisingly, the instructors were very patient doing exercises with them. They always make sure that the activity would be a perfect blend of fun and focus. They did some stretching before they start to reduce the chance of injury. They just started with the basics. The kids were taught one by one how to blow bubbles under the water and hold their breath for a short time and some flutter kicks. It was so fun watching my son when he had his turn, he couldn't lift his legs because they're heavy. haha! His instructor told him that he needs a little diet. lol.

We also used to take our daughter (Cid Eriana) with us. She also loves swimming and likes joining her brother’s class. She’s the "saling ketket"(extra). She’s more game and fearless when it comes to the water. She had so much fun splashing and screaming like a mermaid! She's so funny to watch as well, especially when she started moving her arms and legs in different directions, I mean no directions! Haha!
